25 ft SAE/Metric Tape Measure

This 25-foot tape measure displays both SAE and metric graduations on a double-sided steel blade. The high-visibility yellow coating and nylon cover make readings clear in bright or dim conditions. A two-rivet hook and slide lock hold the blade firm during layout work. The closed ABS case with belt clip keeps the tool secure on a belt or in a tool bag.

Sustained job-site use

The automatic rewind returns the blade smoothly after each pull, reducing wrist strain during repeated measurements. Nylon blade coating resists abrasion from rough lumber and concrete dust over long days. ABS case construction absorbs drops and impacts without cracking. The slide lock stays engaged under vibration so the blade does not creep while marking.

One-inch blade width decision

A one-inch wide blade provides the standout needed for solo overhead or horizontal runs. Buyers who need a narrower blade for tight cavities or a wider blade for maximum standout should choose a different width. The double-sided printed graduations serve both imperial and metric workflows without flipping the tape.

Questions about this item

How much force is needed to extend the 25 ft blade all day without fatigue?

The slide lock holds the blade at any length with a light thumb press, and the automatic rewind retracts it smoothly so repeated use stays low effort.

What mounting option does the case provide for immediate access on a belt?

A built-in belt clip on the orange ABS case lets you keep the tape at hip level without a separate pouch or holster.

Will the 1 in wide yellow blade cover the same stud markings as my older ¾ in tape?

The double-sided SAE/metric blade prints both inch/foot and millimetre graduations, so it replaces narrower tapes for layout and metric work alike.
