The Keson ST1850Y is a 50 ft long tape measure designed for layout tasks that exceed the reach of standard pocket tapes. Manual return with 1/8 in graduations

The blade returns manually, so there is no spring mechanism to jam or lose tension over time. Graduations are marked in 1/8 in increments with 16 in stud markings highlighted for quick framing reference. The non-magnetic single hook anchors at the hook end and reads from the zero point, while the non-locking design means the blade must be held during a reading.

Consistent accuracy on extended runs

Because the blade is single-sided steel with no locking brake, it lies flat against the work surface and resists the mid-span sag that can distort short-burst measurements. Manual rewind eliminates the recoil shock that can bend the hook or kink the blade on long pulls.
