The Keson OTR10M200 is a 200 ft open-reel tape designed for engineers and surveyors who need long-range linear measurement on site. Its 1/2 in white blade is printed with feet, tenths, hundredths, millimetres, centimetres and metres for mixed-unit work. The double PVC coating protects the graduations from abrasion and moisture. A folding hook anchors the zero point on edges or stakes.

Manual rewind open case limits speed

The open ABS case has no spring return, so the blade must be wound back by hand after each measurement. No lock mechanism is fitted, meaning the tape cannot be held at a fixed extension without tension on the hook. The folding hook adds a small dead zone at the start of the blade that must be accounted for in precise layout.

60 m metric graduation decides suitability

The blade carries millimetre, centimetre and metre markings alongside the imperial scales, so the tape serves crews that work in metric or dual-dimension drawings. If the project requires only imperial fractions or a locked blade for one-person use, this model does not meet those needs.
