Key Reel with 24 Inch Stainless Steel Chain

This key reel uses a stainless steel chain to keep keys secure and within reach. The 24 inch extended length provides ample reach for door locks without removing the reel from your belt. A split ring holds keys firmly while the belt clip attaches to belts up to 1 3/4 inches wide. It is built for daily use in home and outdoor settings.

24 Inch Chain Length for Extended Reach

The chain extends a full 24 inches so you can unlock doors while the reel stays clipped to your belt. This reach is the deciding factor if you need to operate locks at arm's length without unclipping. A shorter chain would force you to detach the reel each time. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion during outdoor exposure.

8-10 Oz Retraction Force Under Daily Cycles

The reel exerts 8-10 ounces of retraction force to pull keys back automatically after each use. This tension remains consistent over repeated cycles so the chain does not sag or fail to retract. The 2 inch case houses the spring mechanism that delivers this steady pull. It performs reliably through sustained daily operation.

Questions about this item

How far will the 24 in chain let my keys reach from my belt?

The 24 in stainless steel chain extends to give a two foot working radius from the clip, so keys can reach a door lock or ignition without unclipping.

What does the 8-10 oz retraction force mean for daily use?

The 8-10 oz retraction force pulls keys back firmly but not aggressively, keeping the chain taut against clothing without yanking the belt clip loose.

Will the standard clip hold on a 1 3/4 in duty belt?

Yes, the standard belt clip is rated for belts up to 1 3/4 in wide, so it grips standard leather or nylon duty belts securely.
