Desk protection and writing surface

The Keychron 001 desk pad measures 23.6 by 13.7 inches and sits 0.1 inches thick on the table. A PVC leather top resists water and oil while giving a smooth glide for mouse movements. The beige finish adds a neutral tone that suits office, home or creative workspaces.

Sustained daily use

The suede backing grips the desk so the pad stays in place during long typing or gaming sessions. Spills wipe away with a damp cloth without soaking through to the surface underneath. The single-sided design means only the leather face is intended for contact and wear.

Before ordering

Check that your desk offers at least 23.6 by 13.7 inches of flat area for the rectangular footprint. The pad is 2 millimetres thick, so verify it will not interfere with any low-profile keyboard trays or monitor arms. Remember the suede side faces down and the leather side faces up.

Questions about this item

Does the 2 mm thickness of the Keychron 001 desk pad change how hot the surface feels after hours of use?

The pad is 2 mm thick and made of PVC leather on top with a suede back, so it does not trap heat and stays at room temperature during long sessions.

What items must already be on the desk for the 23.6" x 13.7" pad to serve its purpose?

You need a flat desktop — glass or wood — plus a keyboard and mouse; the pad simply protects that surface and gives the mouse a consistent glide area.

Will the suede backing of the Keychron 001 grip an older lacquered desk without sliding?

Yes, the suede back is designed for slip resistance on smooth surfaces such as lacquered or glass desks, keeping the 23.6" x 13.7" pad in place.
