7-Piece Keyboard Maintenance Kit

The Keychron gs-514844 kit provides seven tools for mechanical-keyboard upkeep, including a keycap puller, switch puller, lubricating pen, cleaning brush, tweezers, 4-jaw gripper and a 5 g tub of switch lubricant. It is intended for enthusiasts who want to clean, lubricate and reassemble their own boards without sourcing each tool separately.

Tool Compatibility Limits

The keycap puller works with MX, Alps and Topre switch stems but must not be used on scissor-type switches found on most laptop and low-profile keyboards. The 4-jaw gripper is designed to hold standard switch housings during lubrication; non-standard or proprietary stems may not seat securely.

Capacity and Headroom

The included 5 g of lubricant is enough for a full-size keyboard and leaves headroom for several smaller boards or future touch-ups. The kit covers removal, cleaning, lubrication and reassembly in one set, but it does not contain spare keycaps, switch films, a soldering iron or keycap-storage trays.
