Desk Mat for Keyboard and Mouse

The Keychron A-4717-Black desk mat measures 47.2 by 17 inches and covers a full desktop area for keyboard, mouse and accessories. Its reversible construction offers a PU leather face on one side and natural cork on the other. The 2 mm thickness adds minimal height while protecting the desk from scratches and spills. A non-slip silicone base keeps the mat stationary during use.

Check Desk Dimensions and Surface

Verify that your desk top is at least 47.2 inches wide and 17 inches deep so the mat lies flat without overhang. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before placement to maximise the silicone grip. The mat is waterproof, but standing liquids should still be wiped away promptly. No adhesive or fasteners are required for installation.

Fits Single Workstation Setups

The mat supports a standard keyboard and mouse side by side, removing the need for a separate mouse pad. Its roll-up design allows quick storage or transport between home and office. The cork backing protects delicate desk finishes from abrasion. It is not suited for users who need a hard, low-friction gaming surface or a mat smaller than 47 inches wide.

Questions about this item

Does the Keychron A-4717-Black desk mat include any accessories or does it ship as a single piece?

The mat is a single reversible piece measuring 47.2 by 17 inches with a 0.1 inch thickness; no extra accessories are included.

Should I choose the cork side or the PU leather side for daily mouse use?

Both sides work as a mouse surface; the PU leather side gives a smoother glide while the cork side adds more grip and a natural texture.

How does the 47.2 by 17 inch size perform on a typical desk once the keyboard and mouse are placed on it?

The large rectangle covers most standard desks, leaving room for a full-size keyboard, mouse and laptop without overhang.
