Magnetic Cover for Surface Pro 12

This magnetic Bluetooth keyboard cover is built specifically for the 12 inch Surface Pro model released in 2025. It combines a backlit keyboard with a large touchpad in a single accessory that attaches magnetically. The unit weighs 635 grams and measures 10.78 by 7.48 by 0.1 inches. It is designed for users who want a portable typing solution tailored to that exact device.

Check Bluetooth and Model Before Buying

Verify that your laptop is the Surface Pro 12 inch 1st generation from 2025 because this cover will not fit any other model. The keyboard requires an initial Bluetooth 5.2 pairing before first use; after that it reconnects automatically. If the touchpad appears unresponsive, press Fn plus Space to re-enable it. A USB charging cable is included for the internal battery.

Replaces Separate Keyboard and Case

This cover replaces a standalone Bluetooth keyboard and a separate screen protector or folio case by integrating typing, trackpad navigation and screen protection in one magnetic layer. The jump is worth it when you travel frequently and want a single 2 mm thick accessory that delivers 70 to 80 hours of backlit use per charge. It is not for buyers who need a numeric keypad or a full-size desktop layout.

Questions about this item

What is included with the keyboard cover and what must be purchased separately?

The package contains the magnetic Bluetooth keyboard cover and a charging cable. A power adapter for charging is not included and must be supplied separately.

Which version of this cover fits my device?

This model is designed only for the Surface Pro 12 inch 1st laptop released in 2025. It will not fit any other Surface Pro size or generation.

What does the 70 to 80 hour battery claim mean for daily use?

With the backlight off, a full charge lasts 70 to 80 hours of continuous typing. Using the 7 colour backlight at higher brightness will reduce that runtime.
