Desk coverage and purpose

This Keychron mouse pad measures 36 by 16 inches and provides a single continuous surface for a keyboard and mouse. The black cloth top sits on a natural rubber base that keeps the pad from sliding on a desk. It is intended for gamers and office users who want one mat that covers the main input area.

Thickness and material

The pad is 2 mm thick, built from a smooth cloth surface bonded to a natural rubber backing with reinforced stitched edges. A waterproof coating lets liquid bead up for easy wiping. The rubber texture grips the desk without adhesive.

Who it suits and who it does not

Buyers who want a low-profile mat that protects the desk and keeps both keyboard and mouse on the same surface will find it practical. Users who need a thicker cushion for wrist comfort or a smaller pad that fits a tight keyboard tray should look elsewhere.

What does the rubber base actually grip on a typical desk?

The textured natural rubber bottom holds on wood, glass or laminate without sliding during fast swipes.

Will the 2 mm thickness clear my desk grommet or monitor arm clamp?

At 0.12 inch thick the pad sits low enough to slide under most grommets and clamp feet.
