Ergonomic gel set

The Keychron OPC17002C01B136OFAP bundles a mouse pad, a long keyboard wrist rest and a square coaster in a black and red colourway. The set is sold new and targets office workers, students and gamers who want a coordinated surface for daily computer use. Gel cushioning on both the pad and the rest aims to reduce wrist pressure during extended sessions. A silicone base keeps each piece from sliding on the desk.

Capacity and headroom

The mouse pad measures 8.3 by 10.4 inches and the wrist rest spans 17.1 by 2.9 inches, giving enough room for a full-size keyboard and controlled mouse sweeps. The 2 mm thickness adds minimal height so the hands stay close to the desk. The 3.9-inch coaster handles a standard mug but leaves no extra space for larger bottles or accessories. Users with broad mouse movements or compact desks may find the pad area restrictive.

Practical limits of the surface

The plastic top layer provides consistent tracking for optical and laser sensors but lacks the glide speed of dedicated hard pads. Silicone backing grips well on clean laminate yet can lose adhesion on dusty or textured surfaces. Gel filling softens over time and does not rebound like memory foam, so heavy daily use will gradually change the feel. The set covers basic ergonomic needs but does not replace a monitor arm or an adjustable chair for full posture support.

Questions about this item

Will the 17.1-inch wrist rest fit alongside a compact keyboard without overhang?

The 17.1 x 2.9-inch wrist rest spans most compact keyboards; measure your deck to confirm the 2.9-inch depth suits your layout.

How can I check the gel pads keep their shape after a week of use?

Press the 8.3 x 10.4-inch mouse pad and 3.9-inch coaster — they should rebound instantly and show no permanent indent.

Does the set include the 3.9-inch coaster or must I buy it separately?

The box contains the mouse pad, the 17.1-inch wrist rest and the 3.9-inch coaster — no extra purchase required.
