Wide-range 1D/2D code reader

The Keyence SR-2000W is a barcode scanner built around a CMOS image sensor with 2048 × 1536 pixels. It reads both one-dimensional and two-dimensional symbols across a large field of view. The unit suits logistics, manufacturing and retail workflows that need reliable capture at varying distances.

Auto-focus and I/O expand utility

Auto-focus removes the need for manual adjustment when the working distance shifts. Two inputs and three outputs let the reader trigger on external signals and drive PLCs, lights or reject gates directly. The wide field reaches 707 × 530 mm at an 800 mm stand-off, so a single device can cover conveyor lanes that would otherwise need multiple scanners.

Simple mount, watch the voltage

The 1.0000 kg housing fits standard brackets and connects with common industrial cables. Power must stay between 15 VDC minimum ON voltage and 26.4 VDC maximum rating; exceeding either limit risks damage. Ensure the mounting position keeps the target inside the declared field of view for consistent reads.

Questions about this item

Does the CMOS sensor in the SR-2000W need periodic cleaning or replacement?

The CMOS image sensor is a solid-state component with no moving parts and does not require scheduled replacement; occasional lens cleaning with a lint-free cloth keeps reading performance consistent.

At continuous operation, does the 26.4 VDC maximum rating limit duty cycle?

The 26.4 VDC figure is the absolute supply-voltage ceiling; as long as the applied voltage stays at or below that level the reader can run indefinitely without a duty-cycle restriction.

How much heat or fan noise does the SR-2000W produce when scanning all day?

The unit has no fan and draws minimal power, so it generates only low heat and operates silently during extended use.
