KHACHIMO MSA2000FC RAID Controller

This new KHACHIMO MSA2000FC RAID controller is built for servers that need Fibre Channel connectivity to an MSA2000 storage array. It suits administrators upgrading or replacing a controller in an existing SAN environment where the AJ744A, 481319-001 or 545830-001 part numbers are specified. Buyers who require a different host interface or a controller for a non-MSA2000 platform should look elsewhere.

Tested Thermals and Power Profile

The unit is supplied tested working and described as good quality, indicating it meets the original thermal and power specifications for the MSA2000FC platform. No independent noise, temperature or power-draw measurements are provided, so exact figures cannot be stated. Installers should follow the array vendor's airflow and power-budget guidelines for the specific enclosure in use.

Questions about this item

How do I install the KHACHIMO MSA2000FC RAID controller into an ATX server chassis?

Align the card with a free PCI slot, press firmly until the bracket seats, then secure the retention screw; the step often missed is connecting the external fibre cables before closing the case.

What maintenance will the MSA2000FC controller need over time?

Keep the server air filters clean so dust does not restrict airflow across the card; no battery or cache module is present on this unit, so no periodic replacement is required.
