Purpose and users

The KICTeam CRB15 pack contains fifteen waffle clean cards designed for MICR check readers in point-of-sale environments. Retail and banking staff use them to maintain reliable cheque processing on compatible devices.

Installation and common issues

Each card is fed through the reader like a standard cheque to remove debris from the magnetic head and transport rollers. Problems occur when cards are reused, inserted incorrectly, or substituted with unapproved cleaning media that can leave residue.

Compatibility checks

Verify that the specific MICR reader model accepts waffle-style cleaning cards before ordering. Confirm the maintenance schedule recommended by the reader manufacturer matches the 15-count supply. Ensure the device is not a non-MICR scanner that requires a different cleaning method.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the waffle clean cards are feeding correctly through my MICR check reader after installation?

Run a test check through the reader; the waffle texture should remove debris from the MICR head and the transport path without jamming, leaving the read head clean for the next live cheque.

What comes in the CRB15 pack and do I need any extra supplies to use them?

The box contains 15 KICTeam CRB15 MICR waffle clean cards; no additional fluids or tools are required — each card is pre-treated and ready to insert.

Which pack size should I choose for a branch that processes several hundred cheques a day?

The CRB15 is sold as a 15-count pack; order multiple packs to match your cleaning schedule — daily cleaning would use roughly one pack every two weeks.
