Killark FXCS-5B7 Control Station

This industrial control station houses two momentary push-button operators in a gray aluminum enclosure rated for NEMA 7 and 9 hazardous locations. It provides a 2NO/2NC contact configuration rated at 10A @ 600V AC and 2.5A @ 250V DC. Surface mounting suits fixed industrial installations.

Suits hazardous-area control panels

Installers needing pilot-light indication or maintained-action switches must select a different unit. Buyers requiring IP-rated ingress protection or a different voltage rating should look elsewhere. Units needing more than two operator positions are not served by this model.

10A @ 600V AC contact rating

The A600/Q300 designated contacts switch 10 amperes at 600 volts AC or 2.5 amperes at 250 volts DC. This electrical rating determines compatibility with the target control circuit and motor-load requirements. CSA and UL listings confirm compliance for the specified hazardous locations.

Questions about this item

What voltage must my control circuit supply to match the 600 V AC contact rating?

The contacts are rated for 10 A at 600 V AC and 2.5 A at 250 V DC, so the circuit voltage must not exceed those values.

Can I mount this surface-mount enclosure on the same panel as my older NEMA 4 devices?

Yes, the aluminum enclosure carries NEMA 7 and 9 ratings and mounts on a flat surface with the same 6.81 in height, 3.6875 in width and 5.344 in depth footprint.

Which LED colour on the push-button face confirms the momentary contacts have closed?

The unit has no pilot lights; verify operation by measuring continuity across the 2NO/2NC contacts while pressing each black push button.
