A 20 A, two-pole manual motor switch rated for hazardous locations with 2 hp at 120 V and 3 hp at 480 V
The Killark FXSX12 is a manual motor switch rated at 20 A with two poles for single-phase operation. It is built for Class I Division 1 and 2 Groups C and D, Class II Division 1 and 2 Groups E, F, and G, and Class III Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations. The handle operator includes a pilot light for clear status indication.
This switch supports up to 2 hp at 120 V AC and 2 hp at 240 V AC on single-phase supplies. It also carries ratings of 3 hp at 480 V AC and 3 hp at 600 V AC for three-phase systems. One thermal unit is required for overload protection and the starter follows NEMA style construction.
The defining specification is the two-pole, single-phase design with a handle operator and included pilot light. Buyers who need a different pole count, automatic control, or an IP-rated enclosure will find this model unsuitable.
