Killark LB 3/4" Threaded Iron Conduit Body

This LB-style conduit outlet body is built for electrical installers who need a 90-degree directional change in rigid or intermediate metal conduit runs. The threaded iron construction with powder-coated gray finish suits industrial and commercial wiring projects where durability and code-compliant capacity are required.

Thermal noise and power draw in normal use

As a passive iron fitting, this conduit body generates no heat, produces no noise, and draws no electrical power during operation. Its 25.6 cu in interior volume provides ample space for conductor bending and splice management without thermal concerns.

Replaces worn or undersized LB fittings

The 3/4 inch hub size and compatibility with IMC and RMC conduit make it a direct upgrade when older bodies lack sufficient cubic capacity or show corrosion. The included cover and gasket simplify installation when replacing damaged units in threaded conduit assemblies.

Questions about this item

How is the LB-style outlet body installed and which step is commonly missed?

Thread the 3/4 in hub onto IMC or RMC conduit, tighten to code torque, then seat the supplied gasket before fastening the flat cover — skipping the gasket is the frequent error.

What maintenance or replacement will the conduit body need later?

The powder-coated gray iron resists corrosion; only the gasket and cover screws may need replacement if they degrade or are lost during future wire pulls.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy wire-pulling use?

The 25.6 cu in body capacity is the limiting factor — exceeding it violates fill rules and makes pulling difficult.
