Trade Size and Application

This conduit outlet body is built for 1 1/2 inch trade size IMC or RMC raceways in hazardous locations. The iron construction with powder-coated finish provides mechanical protection for wire pulls and splices in straight-run configurations. It suits industrial electricians who need a durable, flat-back body rated for demanding environments.

Conduit Compatibility and Cover Match

Verify that the existing raceway is IMC or RMC with a 1 1/2 inch trade size before ordering. The body accepts threaded connections only and requires the compatible OL-45M cover to complete the enclosure. Confirm the straight orientation matches the planned conduit path and that the flat back suits the mounting surface.

Sustained Load Capacity

With a 36 cubic inch internal volume the body accommodates the conductor fill required for continuous duty in 1 1/2 inch conduit. The iron housing and powder coat resist corrosion and mechanical stress over long service periods in classified areas. The straight-through design maintains consistent wire-pulling clearance without restriction during extended operation.
