Killark OLB-5CG Conduit Outlet Body

This Killark OLB-5CG is an aluminum conduit outlet body with an LB configuration. It provides a 90-degree turn for threaded rigid metal conduit or intermediate metal conduit runs. The unit includes a cover and gasket and is rated for hazardous locations. It suits electricians and facility managers pulling conductors through angled raceway sections.

Verify conduit trade size and hub compatibility

Confirm your existing raceway uses a 1 1/2 inch trade size so the hub threads match. Ensure the 36 cubic inch body capacity meets the fill requirements for your conductor count and gauge. Check that the flat back design suits the mounting surface and that the powder-coated gray finish meets site specifications.

Replaces worn or undersized LB outlet bodies

This unit replaces damaged LB fittings or those with insufficient cubic capacity for updated wiring. The jump is worth it when the existing body lacks a cover, gasket, or hazardous-location rating. It also upgrades installations requiring the OL-450 compatible cover for secure enclosure closure.

Questions about this item

Does the Killark OLB-5CG conduit outlet body include the cover and gasket, or must they be purchased separately?

The unit ships with both the cover and gasket included, so no separate purchase is needed for those components.

How do I decide between the LB body style and other configurations for my conduit run?

Choose the LB style when you need a 90-degree turn with the opening on the back, which suits pulls where the conduit enters from the side and exits toward the rear.

What does the 36 cubic-inch body capacity mean when I am pulling conductors through this fitting?

It is the maximum internal volume allowed for conductor fill; the combined cross-sectional area of all wires inside must not exceed that 36 cu in limit.
