The Killark OT-3 is a T-style conduit outlet body designed for 1-inch trade-size IMC and RMC raceways. It provides a 12 cubic inch internal capacity for pulling and splicing conductors in industrial or commercial electrical installations. The copper-free aluminum construction with powder-coated gray finish resists corrosion in harsh environments.

Threaded Hub Limits for IMC and RMC

The body accepts only 1-inch threaded hubs matching IMC or RMC conduit dimensions. Multi-angle connection orientation allows flexible routing, but the flat back and fixed 1-inch hub size prevent direct adaptation to larger or smaller raceways without reducers. The compatible OL-30 cover must be used to maintain the enclosure rating.

Upgrade from Smaller Bodies or Non-Hazardous Boxes

This unit replaces 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch outlet bodies when conduit size increases to 1 inch or when hazardous-location rating becomes required. The jump is worth it when the installation demands the 12 cubic inch capacity or the aluminum, copper-free construction specified for classified areas. It does not suit installations needing smaller trade sizes or non-threaded connection types.
