Threaded aluminum elbow joins 1-inch IMC conduit in hazardous locations
The Killark Y-3 is a capped elbow fitting designed for hazardous-location conduit systems. It connects two sections of 1-inch IMC or threaded RMC with female-to-female FNPT ends. The aluminum body carries a powder-coated gray finish and measures four inches in overall length, height and three inches in width. It weighs point six pounds and meets Class I Division 1 and 2 Groups C D, Class II Division 1 and 2 Groups E F G and Class III Division 1 and 2 ratings.
Electricians running IMC or threaded rigid conduit in classified areas will find this elbow matches the required trade size and hazardous-location ratings. Installers needing a different trade size, a male-threaded end or a non-hazardous fitting should select another product. The fitting is not intended for PVC, EMT or flexible conduit systems.
Confirm the existing raceway is 1-inch IMC or threaded RMC with female NPT threads before ordering. Check that the installation environment falls within the listed Class and Division ratings for your project. Ensure the powder-coated aluminum material is compatible with the surrounding atmosphere and any required corrosion protection.

You need 1 in IMC or threaded RMC conduit with female NPT ends to match the elbow's FNPT x FNPT connections.
It fits 1 in IMC or threaded RMC conduit, but the Class I, II, III Division ratings only apply when the entire run uses listed hazardous-location components.
Verify both 1 in FNPT joints are fully engaged, the 4 in by 4 in by 3 in body sits flush, and the gray powder coat shows no damage from assembly.
