10000 lb Flat Hook Strap

This 27 ft polyester cargo strap uses a gold finish and a ratchet tensioner with flat hooks to secure loads on flat-bed trailers. The working load limit is 335 lb while the overall breaking strength reaches 10000 lb. A six month manufacturer warranty covers the assembly.

Flat-bed operators needing ratchet tension

The flat hook ends suit standard flat-bed anchor points and the ratchet allows precise tensioning for pallets, equipment or building materials. Users who require a cam buckle, a different hook style or a longer reach should look at other configurations.

335 lb working load limit

This single figure defines the maximum load the strap can carry in regular use and must not be exceeded. The 10000 lb breaking strength is a destructive test value only and does not increase the safe working capacity.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the 27 ft length and the 2 in width for my flatbed?

The strap is 27 ft long and 2 in wide as a single fixed specification; you do not select length or width separately.

What does the 10,000 lb breaking strength mean when I am actually securing a load?

Breaking strength is 10,000 lb, but the working load limit is 3,335 lb, so never apply more than 3,335 lb in regular use.

What standard governs the flat-hook ratchet interface on this strap?

The strap meets WSTDA standards for flat-hook ratchet tie-downs used on flatbeds.
