Universal Bathroom Appeal

The Kingston Brass 5 in. Zinc Diverter Tub Spout features a sleek body and curved headpiece that evokes a simplistic design. This aesthetic gives your bathroom a universal appeal suitable for various décor styles. It is intended for homeowners updating or installing a bathtub fixture. The spout is supplied in new condition.

Diverter Function and Finish Options

A featured diverter lever above the headpiece enables water flow to switch between the tub spout and a shower head. This mechanism supports a combined tub and shower setup without requiring a separate diverter valve. Buyers can choose from an array of finishes to coordinate with existing bathroom fixtures. The zinc construction provides the structural form for the spout.

Sustained Water Flow Control

Under sustained use, the diverter lever manages the redirection of water between the two outlets consistently. The zinc body maintains its structural integrity during regular operation. The simplistic design lacks complex internal components that could degrade differently over time. Buyers needing a thermostatic valve or integrated volume control will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

How long is the spout body and will it reach my tub wall?

The spout measures 5 inches from the wall flange to the tip, so it fits standard tub installations.

Does the zinc body get hot or make noise when the shower runs for a long time?

Zinc conducts heat quickly, so the spout will feel warm, but it has no moving parts that generate noise.

What pipe connection do I need behind the wall for this diverter spout?

It threads onto a 1/2-inch male NPT nipple, so that fitting must already be in place.
