Keepsake Flange for Bathroom Accessories

The Kingston Brass 588 flange provides a secure hold for matching bathroom accessories. Its brushed nickel finish coordinates with other fixtures to create a unified appearance. The round escutcheon features smooth bodywork and soft surfaces for a traditional aesthetic. This keepsake component suits homeowners completing a coordinated bathroom design.

Durable Brass Construction

Solid brass material resists corrosion in humid bathroom environments. The flange maintains its brushed nickel appearance without special cleaning requirements. No moving parts or electrical components eliminate operational noise and power draw. Installation integrates with standard plumbing rough-ins for reliable long-term performance.

5/8 Inch Outside Diameter Fit

The 588 model fits 5/8 inch outside diameter piping for precise compatibility. Buyers with different pipe dimensions cannot use this flange without adapters not included. The specific sizing determines whether this part matches existing plumbing rough-ins. Verify pipe measurements before purchase to ensure proper fit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 588 flange on a 5/8" OD pipe, and which step causes leaks?

Slide the flange over the pipe until it seats against the wall, then tighten the set screw evenly — over-tightening distorts the brass and creates a leak path.

What maintenance will the brushed nickel 588 flange need over time?

Wipe with a soft cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive cleaners that strip the protective lacquer and expose the brass to tarnish.

What is the first limit the 588 flange reaches under constant hot-water use?

The brass body handles temperature cycles indefinitely; the brushed nickel finish is the first surface to show wear if harsh chemicals are used.
