Designer bottle trap for exposed plumbing

This KINGSTON BRASS 8401 oval bottle trap suits modern homes where pipework remains visible. Its transparent finish and polished chrome deliver a clean, lasting appearance while maintaining a liquid seal against sewer gases.

Gravity-fed seal limits

The trap relies on a water seal that must stay filled to block odours, so infrequently used fixtures can lose protection through evaporation. Horizontal runs and tight offsets restrict installation because the oval body needs enough fall and clearance to maintain flow.

Oval profile decides fit

The 8401 model’s oval cross-section determines whether it aligns with existing tailpieces and wall outlets, making it the single specification that confirms compatibility.
