Polished Brass Shower Faucet

The Kingston Brass 8632FLSO is a single-handle shower faucet built with solid brass waterway construction. Its polished brass finish resists tarnishing and corrosion for lasting appearance. The unit belongs to the Royale collection and suits contemporary or modern bathroom designs. It installs using standard 1/2 inch IPS inlets.

2.5 GPM Flow and Pressure Balance

The faucet delivers 2.5 gallons per minute at 80 PSI, equivalent to 9.5 litres per minute. A pressure-balance valve with a temperature check stop helps maintain consistent water temperature during pressure changes. The 1/4-turn washerless cartridge provides smooth handle operation. Buyers needing a higher flow rate or a thermostatic valve with precise digital control will not find those features here.

Included Arm and Cartridge Benefits

A 5-1/2 inch reach shower arm is supplied with the faucet body. The washerless cartridge design reduces wear points compared to traditional washer types. The pressure-balance mechanism and temperature stop work together to limit scald risk without extra components. Installers requiring a diverter for a hand shower or a separate volume control must source those parts separately.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/2" IPS inlets on this 8632 model connect directly to my existing copper supply lines without adapters?

The valve uses 1/2" IPS inlets, which are standard female iron-pipe threads; most copper stub-outs with male sweat adapters will thread straight in.

How can I verify the pressure-balance cartridge and temperature check stop are functioning after installation?

Turn the handle through its full range — pressure shifts from other fixtures should not change the shower temperature, and the stop prevents the handle from reaching scalding positions.

Does the box include the shower arm, flange and valve body, or must I purchase the rough-in valve separately?

The package supplies the trim, 5-1/2" shower arm, flange and the pressure-balance valve body with integral stops; no separate rough-in is required.
