Classic Soap Dish — Polished Brass Finish

This Kingston Brass accessory adds a traditional accent to any bathroom. The solid brass construction ensures durability and a substantial feel. It suits homeowners who want a period-appropriate detail without modern plastic alternatives. The polished surface reflects light for a bright, clean look.

Replaces worn or mismatched dishes

Swap out a corroded, loose or style-clashing soap dish for this unified piece. The upgrade is worth it when the existing hardware shows pitting, discolouration or does not coordinate with other brass fixtures. A matching collection is available for a cohesive suite.

Easy surface-mounted installation

Mounting hardware is included for a straightforward fit on tile or wall board. The most common issue is drilling into tile without the correct bit, which can crack the surface. Use a carbide drill bit and anchors rated for the wall material to avoid movement.

Questions about this item

How does the solid brass soap dish mount to the wall?

It installs with concealed wall anchors that thread into the solid brass body, so the polished finish stays screw-free once tightened.

What is the step installers most often miss when fitting this accessory?

They forget to apply plumber's tape to the anchor threads before tightening, which can let water seep behind the dish and stain the wall.

Will the polished brass finish need re-coating or special cleaning over time?

No re-coating is required; a soft cloth and mild soap keep the lacquer intact, and the solid brass construction means there is no base metal to corrode.
