Governor Glass Shelf Satin Nickel

The Governor glass shelf from Kingston Brass is a bath accessory made from solid brass with a satin nickel finish. It belongs to the Classic Collection and is designed for durability and corrosion resistance. Matching accessories are available in different finishes to coordinate the bathroom.

Suits modern bathrooms needing a single glass shelf

This shelf works for owners who want a straightforward brass shelf with easy installation and a coordinated look. It is not suited for buyers who need multiple shelves, integrated towel bars, or a different metal finish not offered in the collection.

Solid brass construction with glass insert

The brass frame provides structural strength while the glass surface holds toiletries and decor items. It handles everyday bathroom storage within the limits of a single wall-mounted shelf. It runs out when the load exceeds the shelf capacity or when additional mounting points are required.

Questions about this item

What type of wall structure is needed to support the solid brass Governor glass shelf?

The shelf is fabricated from solid brass for durability and mounts to standard wall studs or blocking using the included hardware; ensure the wall can hold the weight of brass construction plus items placed on the glass.

Can the satin nickel finish on this Governor shelf coordinate with older Oil Rubbed Bronze fixtures in the same bath?

The shelf carries a satin nickel finish that resists tarnishing and corrosion; it will not match Oil Rubbed Bronze pieces, but Kingston Brass offers matching accessories in different finishes for a cohesive look.

How can I confirm the glass shelf is securely installed and functioning as intended after mounting?

After installation, the shelf should sit level with no movement when pressed, the glass should rest firmly in the brass brackets, and the finish should show no scratches or corrosion under normal bathroom humidity.
