Roman Tub Faucet Polished Brass

The Kingston Brass KB282 is a deck-mounted Roman tub faucet finished in polished brass. It requires three installation holes and operates with two knob handles. The design suits traditional or transitional bathrooms where a freestanding or drop-in tub is fitted with a deck-mounted filler.

Spout Reach 8.5 Inches Height 3.25 Inches

The spout extends 8.5 inches from the deck and sits 3.25 inches high, providing clearance for deeper tub walls. Polished brass surfaces resist tarnish under normal household water conditions and clean with mild soap. Two separate handles allow independent hot and cold control without a single-lever mechanism.

Includes Valve Two Knob Handles

The package includes the valve body required for installation, so no separate rough-in purchase is needed. Knob handles suit users who prefer a classic grip over lever blades. The faucet is not ADA compliant, so projects requiring lever handles for accessibility will need a different model.

Questions about this item

How do I install the KB282 Roman Tub faucet and what deck-mount step is often missed?

The KB282 installs as a three-hole deck-mounted unit with two knob handles and an included valve. The step often missed is aligning the 8.5-inch spout reach and 3.25-inch height before tightening the mounting hardware to avoid leaks.

What maintenance or replacement will the KB282 faucet need over time?

The polished brass finish on the KB282 may develop a natural patina; periodic polishing with a brass-safe cleaner maintains shine. Internal valve cartridges and handle O-rings are the typical wear items that eventually require replacement.

What limit appears first on the KB282 under sustained hot-water use?

The included valve and brass body handle continuous hot water within normal residential pressure ranges. The practical limit is the valve cartridge’s temperature rating, which governs maximum safe outlet temperature during extended draws.
