Kingston Brass Volume Control

The Kingston Brass KB300.EX is a polished brass volume control designed for bathroom installations. It regulates water flow in shower or tub systems for homeowners updating or repairing their fixtures. This hardware suits standard plumbing configurations requiring a dedicated volume adjustment handle.

Installation uses standard plumbing connections

Installation follows typical volume control fitting procedures for polished brass trim. The most common issue arises when the valve body behind the wall is not compatible with this specific trim kit, requiring an adapter or a different rough-in valve. Proper sealing prevents leaks around the escutcheon.

Polished brass finish requires gentle care

The polished brass surface resists corrosion but shows water spots and fingerprints more readily than brushed finishes. Harsh chemical cleaners will damage the lacquer or plating, so mild soap and soft cloths are recommended. The trim diameter is fixed and cannot cover oversized wall openings.
