Tub & Shower Faucet with Pressure Balance

The Kingston Brass KB665AL combines a tub spout and shower head in a single oil rubbed bronze fixture. Two lever handles control flow and temperature for bath or shower use. The pressure balanced valve keeps water temperature steady when supply pressure changes. It suits bathrooms that need a complete tub and shower solution with a traditional finish.

Solid Brass Build with 5.5 Inch Shower Arm

The faucet body is manufactured from solid brass for corrosion resistance and long service life. A 5.5 inch shower arm positions the single function head at a comfortable height for most users. The tub spout extends five inches from the wall, providing ample clearance for filling. ADA compliant lever handles operate with minimal effort and the diverter switches cleanly between outlets.

Complete Valve and Diverter Included

The package supplies the pressure balanced valve and diverter, so no separate rough in valve purchase is required. Installation follows standard two handle tub and shower plumbing layouts. The 2.5 GPM shower head flow rate meets current water efficiency standards. Everything needed for a functional tub and shower system arrives in one box.

Questions about this item

What flow rate does the 2.5 GPM shower head deliver in practice?

The single-function shower head is rated at 2.5 gallons per minute, which is the maximum flow allowed under current U.S. federal standards for shower fixtures.

What are the key reach measurements for the KB665AL spout and shower arm?

The tub spout extends 5 inches from the wall and the shower arm reaches 5.5 inches, so verify your enclosure depth accommodates both dimensions.

How is the pressure-balanced valve installed and what common step is missed?

The valve body is sweat-soldered or threaded into the rough plumbing; the step often missed is removing the cartridge before applying heat so the internal seals are not damaged.
