Satin Nickel tub and shower trim

The Kingston Brass KB668AX is a single-function tub and shower trim set finished in Satin Nickel. It provides the visible controls and shower head for a vintage-style bathroom installation. The trim is designed to pair with a compatible rough-in valve that is sold separately. This product suits homeowners updating a bath with a classic look.

Single-function shower head operation

Water flows through one shower head pattern with no additional spray modes to adjust. The trim contains no internal valve cartridge, so thermostatic control and flow regulation depend entirely on the rough-in valve chosen by the installer. Noise and water consumption are determined by that valve and household supply pressure. No power draw is involved.

Questions about this item

How is the KB668AX trim installed, and what step do people often miss?

The KB668AX trim mounts onto a compatible Kingston Brass rough-in valve body behind the wall. The step often missed is verifying the valve model matches the trim before opening the wall, otherwise the handle and spout will not align.

What maintenance or replacement will the KB668AX need later?

The satin nickel finish on the KB668AX cleans with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive pads. Internal cartridges inside the rough-in valve may need replacement after years of use, but the trim itself has no serviceable parts.
