Side Sprayer for KB798

The Kingston Brass KBS798SP is a matching side sprayer designed specifically for the KB798 kitchen faucet. It connects to a standard female 1/2 inch IPS supply line and features an engineering-grade ABS plastic body with a satin nickel finish. The classic styling and wavy handgrip shape provide a comfortable grip during everyday kitchen tasks.

Flow Rate and Easy Cleaning

Water flows through the spray face at a maximum of 2.2 GPM or 8.3 LPM when supply pressure reaches 60 PSI. A one-touch button activates the stream through small nozzles that resist mineral build-up. The spray face is designed for simple wiping so deposits do not restrict the pattern over time.

Sustained Use Behaviour

During prolonged rinsing the ABS construction handles continuous water exposure without deforming. The push-button mechanism stays responsive under repeated cycles and the 1-1/2 inch shank height fits most countertop thicknesses. The fixed 2.2 GPM rate means water usage remains predictable even during long cleaning sessions.

Questions about this item

How do I install the sprayer onto a standard 1/2-inch IPS supply line, and what step is often missed?

Thread the 1-1/2-inch shank onto the female 1/2-inch IPS connection and tighten with a basin wrench; the step often missed is applying plumber's tape to the threads before tightening to prevent leaks.

What maintenance will the spray face need over time?

Wipe the easy-clean spray face regularly with a soft cloth and mild vinegar solution to dissolve mineral build-up and keep the nozzles flowing at the rated 2.2 GPM.

What is the maximum flow rate I will see at 60 PSI supply pressure?

The sprayer delivers up to 2.2 GPM or 8.3 LPM at 60 PSI; higher supply pressure will not increase flow beyond this limit.
