Metropolitan Roman Tub Filler

The Kingston Brass Metropolitan Roman Tub Filler is a new bath accessory built from solid brass with a polished brass finish that resists tarnishing and corrosion. It uses a 1/4 turn ceramic disc cartridge for smooth operation and includes porcelain lever handles. The fixture is designed for 8 to 16 inch widespread installation with three faucet holes.

Suits contemporary bathrooms with high-flow needs

This filler delivers 13.0 gallons per minute at 60 psi through a 3/4 hi-flow cartridge, making it suitable for users who want rapid tub filling. It is not suited for installations that require a pull-out spray, side spray or integrated soap dispenser, nor for single-hole or centerset configurations.

8.50 inch spout reach with 3.75 inch height

The spout extends 8.50 inches from the deck with a height of 3.75 inches, defining the water delivery point over the tub. Verify that these dimensions match the basin geometry before purchase. The valve connection is 3/4-14 NPS and the unit uses a quick-connect spout for installation.

Questions about this item

What deck thickness range does the 8-16 widespread installation support?

The faucet installs on decks drilled for 8-inch or 16-inch center-to-center spacing with 3/4-14 NPS shanks.

Will the 13.0 gpm flow at 60 psi overwhelm older 1/2-inch supply lines?

The 3/4-inch hi-flow cartridge is designed for 3/4-inch supply piping; 1/2-inch lines will restrict flow below the rated 13.0 gpm.

How can I verify the 1/4-turn ceramic disc cartridges are seated correctly after installation?

Each handle should rotate exactly 90 degrees from off to full flow with a positive stop and no dripping at the spout.
