Split-finish faucet for bathroom sinks

The Kingston Brass NS4469BX Water Onyx widespread lavatory faucet combines a polished brass body with black nickel accents for a distinctive two-tone appearance. Its brass construction and washerless cartridge are built for durability and reliable daily use. The design draws on early 20th-century styling for a masculine, multi-faceted look that stands apart from conventional fixtures. A matching brass pop-up drain is included.

Suits single-hole sinks with a deck plate

This model fits sinks prepared for single-hole mono block installation using the supplied deck plate. It will not work on three-hole widespread basins without additional parts. Buyers who need a centreset or wall-mount configuration should look at something else. The BX handle type operates the washerless cartridge for smooth temperature and flow control.

Straightforward single-hole deck-plate install

Installation follows standard single-hole mono block procedure with the included deck plate covering extra openings. Most difficulties arise when the sink cut-out is too large for the deck plate to seal properly or when supply lines do not align with the faucet shanks. The washerless cartridge reduces future leak points, but debris in the lines during first use can cause drips until flushed clear.

Questions about this item

What mounting hardware is required for the single-hole mono block installation with deck plate?

The faucet uses a single-hole mono block design that includes a deck plate, so no separate mounting kit is needed beyond standard supply lines and basin access.

Will the black nickel finish hold up against older polished brass fixtures in the same bathroom?

The Black Onyx finish meets ASTM B117 and ASTM B368 salt-spray and corrosion standards, so it resists wear even when paired with legacy brass hardware.

How can I confirm the washerless cartridge is operating correctly after installation?

Turn the BX handle through its full range; smooth, drip-free control and consistent flow indicate the cartridge is seated and functioning properly.
