Authentic period bath spout

The Kingston Brass Olde Time spout brings traditional styling to a bathroom with its tapered, aerodynamic silhouette. High-quality brass construction provides durability and a substantial feel. The polished chrome finish adds a bright, reflective surface that coordinates with classic or transitional decor. This piece is designed as a straightforward tub spout for everyday use.

Suits classic bathrooms, not shower conversions

Homeowners restoring a vintage-style bath or fitting a period-inspired suite will appreciate the elaborate detailing and 7-3/8 projection. The front-end threaded connection simplifies installation on compatible plumbing. Buyers who need a diverter to switch flow to a handheld shower should look elsewhere, as this model operates without one. It also lacks an escutcheon, handles or integrated accessories.

Brass tub spout without diverter, front-end threaded

The single specification that determines fit is the front-end threaded inlet combined with the absence of a diverter. Verify that your supply pipe accepts a front-threaded connection and that you do not require a shower diverter function. The 7-3/8 projection and polished chrome brass body are fixed attributes of this model.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the polished chrome brass spout absorb when hot water runs through it all day?

The solid brass body conducts heat quickly, so the spout will become warm to the touch during extended use.

What plumbing connection must already be in place for the front-end threaded spout to install?

A 1/2-inch female threaded pipe nipple protruding from the finished wall is required for the front-end threads to engage.

Will the 7-3/8 inch projection clear a vintage claw-foot tub deck that sits higher than modern tubs?

The fixed 7-3/8 inch reach extends horizontally from the wall; measure from your wall surface to the tub interior to confirm clearance.
