Restoration Tub/Shower Faucet

The Kingston Brass Restoration tub/shower faucet combines brass construction with a pressure-balanced washerless cartridge for reliable temperature control. A single metal cross handle operates the valve in a classic oil rubbed bronze finish. The complete set includes an escutcheon and uses 1/2 IPS inlets for standard plumbing connections. It delivers a 2.2 GPM flow rate with a normal spray pattern.

Build Integration

The 1/2 IPS inlets connect directly to existing hot and cold supply lines without adapters. The pressure-balanced cartridge protects against sudden temperature changes when other fixtures are used. Brass valve body and trim resist corrosion in hard water conditions. The included escutcheon covers the wall opening for a clean installation. No separate valve purchase is required.

Upgrade Context

This faucet replaces older two-handle tub/shower sets that lack pressure-balancing safety. The washerless cartridge eliminates drips caused by worn rubber washers in compression valves. The single cross handle simplifies operation for users with limited grip strength. Builders seeking modern thermostatic control or multiple spray functions will need a different valve platform. The classic styling suits period renovations but not minimalist contemporary baths.
