18" Brushed Brass Towel Bar

The Kingston Brass Water Onyx towel bar adds a refined finishing touch to a bathroom. Its brushed brass surface coordinates with matching hardware for a cohesive look. The 18-inch length suits standard towel spacing beside a vanity or shower. Homeowners refreshing a bath will find it a straightforward style upgrade.

Easy hardware refresh

This bar replaces an existing towel bar or fills a gap where no bar was fitted before. The upgrade is worthwhile when the current finish looks dated or when matching fixtures are being installed throughout the room. No plumbing changes are required, so the swap can be completed in minutes with basic tools. Builders coordinating a full bath suite will appreciate the consistent finish option.

Everyday towel capacity

The bar holds bath towels, hand towels or a robe without crowding. It supports the weight of damp linens in daily use. Very heavy or oversized bath sheets may exceed the comfortable load limit. Households needing multiple hanging points should plan for additional bars or hooks.

Questions about this item

What wall spacing do the 18" bar and its flanges require for mounting?

The bar spans 18 inches between flange centres; allow the same centre-to-centre distance on the wall so the flanges align with the bar ends.

Which step is most often missed when fitting the bar to the flanges?

Securing the set screws on each flange after sliding the bar in place; without them the bar can rotate or pull free.

What part will need replacement if the brushed brass finish wears through?

The bar itself; the finish is applied to the metal tube, so refinishing or replacing the bar is the only way to restore the appearance.
