Ready for write-heavy recording

This Kingston High Endurance microSDHC card delivers 32 GB of storage tuned for constant video capture. It targets owners of home security cameras, dash cams and body cams that write long, continuous streams. The A1 rating also supports smooth app performance on compatible devices. Buyers needing larger capacities or faster sustained writes for 4K workflows should look elsewhere.

Simple drop-in installation

Insert the card into any microSDHC or microSDXC slot and format it in the host device before first use. The UHS-I Class 10 interface works with standard readers and adapters, so no special drivers are required. Problems usually appear when a device only supports the older SDSC standard or when the card is formatted with an incompatible file system such as exFAT on hardware limited to FAT32.

Check slot and file-system limits

Verify that your camera or recorder accepts microSDHC cards up to 32 GB and supports the UHS-I speed bus. Confirm the maximum capacity allowed by the manufacturer, because some older models cap at lower sizes. Ensure the device can format the card in FAT32, which is the required file system for this capacity class.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the card is recording Full HD 1080p video continuously as intended?

Check the dash cam or security camera app for uninterrupted 1080p footage and verify the write indicator shows steady 30MB/s activity without dropped frames during playback.

What comes with the card and what must I purchase separately?

The package contains the 32GB microSDHC card with SD adapter; you need a compatible microSDHC slot or USB reader and a device such as a dash cam, body cam or security camera that supports UHS-I Class 10 A1 media.

Should I choose the 32GB version or the larger 128GB capacity for my surveillance system?

The 32GB card delivers 20000 hours of Full HD 1080p recording; select 128GB only if you need proportionally more continuous footage before the oldest files are overwritten.
