Hardware-encrypted USB flash drive with 64 GB capacity, AES XTS encryption, multi-password support and brute-force protection
The Kingston IronKey Locker+ 50 is a 64GB USB flash drive built around AES hardware encryption in XTS mode. It targets users who need portable storage that protects files against brute-force and BadUSB attacks without requiring software installation on the host computer.
The drive enforces multi-password access with separate Admin and User roles, each supporting complex passwords of 6–16 characters or passphrases of 10–64 characters. Ten consecutive failed User attempts lock the account, while ten failed Admin attempts trigger a crypto-erase of the drive. Digitally signed firmware blocks BadUSB exploits, and an automatic personal cloud backup feature is included.
Ensure your system has an available USB-A port for the drive’s physical connector. Confirm you have a cloud account and internet access to use the automatic personal cloud backup function. Buyers who require a USB-C interface or hardware keypad entry should look elsewhere.

The drive uses digitally-signed firmware that blocks BadUSB attacks; Kingston does not publish a schedule for firmware updates, so treat the protection as fixed for the life of the device.
After 10 consecutive failed Admin passwords the drive crypto-erases itself, so the first hard limit you hit under sustained use is the brute-force lockout, not thermal throttling.
It is a standard USB flash drive with hardware AES encryption; it runs at normal flash-drive temperatures and draws only the bus power any 64 GB stick requires.
