High-Endurance microSD for Surveillance

The Kingston SDCE128GB is a 128GB microSDXC card built for continuous recording in security cameras, dash cams and body cams. It meets Class 10 speed ratings to sustain Full HD 1080p capture around the clock. This card targets installers and owners who need reliable local storage instead of recurring cloud fees.

Designed for Harsh Environments

The card is engineered to withstand extreme temperatures, shock, water exposure and x-rays during daily operation. Its microSD form factor fits directly into compatible camera slots without adapters. This durability supports uninterrupted 24/7 recording cycles in demanding outdoor or mobile installations.

Steady Performance for Constant Writes

Class 10 rating delivers the sustained write throughput required for seamless Full HD 1080p video streams. The high-endurance design reduces the risk of card failure during long-term, write-heavy workloads. Low power draw suits battery-operated cameras and dash cams running continuously.

Questions about this item

What does the Class 10 rating mean for real-world write speed?

Class 10 guarantees a minimum sustained write speed of 10 MB/s, which is the floor needed for smooth Full HD 1080p recording.

Which card slot size does this microSD card require?

It fits a standard microSDXC slot; the 128 GB capacity uses the microSDXC form factor.

Is any special formatting step needed before first use in a dash cam?

Most dash cams will prompt to format the card on first insert; use the camera's built-in format option rather than a PC to ensure the correct file system.
