KitchenAid Asteroid Oven Mitt Set Fog Blue

This two-piece set of KitchenAid Asteroid oven mitts is made from 100 percent heat-resistant cotton with textured silicone grips. Each mitt measures 7 inches by 12.5 inches and is coloured Fog Blue. They protect hands from heat up to 302 degrees Fahrenheit while handling hot cookware.

Ideal for home cooks needing basic hand protection

These mitts suit everyday baking and stovetop tasks where a secure grip on pots and pans is required. They are not designed for professional kitchen volumes, extended high-heat exposure beyond the rated limit, or users who prefer longer forearm coverage.

Simple to use and machine washable

Slip the mitts on and the heart-shaped silicone print helps hold heavy dishes. Wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colours, use only non-chlorine bleach, and lay flat to dry. Avoid ironing the silicone areas to prevent damage.

Questions about this item

Do I need to own any specific cookware for the 7"x12.5" silicone grips to work effectively?

The heart-shaped silicone grips work with any hot pots and pans you already use; no special cookware is required.

Will these mitts fit the same way as my older 6.5"x10" KitchenAid mitts?

These measure 7" wide by 12.5" long, so they are slightly wider and longer than the 6.5"x10" size, giving more forearm coverage.

How can I verify the cotton protects up to 302 degrees Fahrenheit after the first wash?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, lay flat to dry, and the 100 percent heat-resistant cotton retains its 302-degree rating.
