KitchenAid Beacon Pot Holder Set

The KitchenAid Beacon set contains two pot holders made from 100 percent heat-resistant cotton with a polyester lining for insulation. Clear printed silicone on the surface provides a non-slip grip when handling hot cookware. Each piece measures 7 inches wide by 10 inches long and includes a hanging loop for storage.

Who These Suit and Who They Don't

Home cooks needing a pair of insulated holders for everyday pots, pans and baking dishes will find the cotton construction comfortable and the silicone grip secure. The set supplies only two pieces, so kitchens that regularly juggle multiple heavy roasting trays or oversized stockpots may need additional protection. Buyers wanting waterproof or full-forearm coverage should look at a different style.

Check Before Buying

Verify that a 7 by 10 inch surface covers the cookware handles you use most often. Confirm the hanging loop fits the hook or rod where you plan to store them. The cotton fabric is machine washable, but check your usual detergent and temperature settings to keep the silicone print intact.

Questions about this item

What size cookware handles will the 7" x 10" pot holders cover?

Each holder measures 7 inches wide by 10 inches long, giving enough surface to grip large pot handles and baking trays comfortably.

Can the cotton and polyester lining withstand the heat from a cast-iron skillet straight from the oven?

The 100 percent heat-resistant cotton with polyester lining is designed to shield hands from hot cookware, including heavy cast-iron pieces.

How do I check the silicone grip is still secure after several washes?

Inspect the clear printed silicone pattern for cracking or peeling; a firm, non-slip hold on a hot pan handle confirms it is working as intended.
