Precise Coffee Scale with Timer

The KitchenTour EK6002 is a compact counter scale built for coffee enthusiasts who need accurate dosing and timing in one device. It weighs from 0.3g up to 3000g with a 0.1g resolution, making it suitable for pour-over, espresso and general kitchen tasks. A built-in timer lets you track extraction without a separate stopwatch. The scale ships with three zinc batteries included.

Consistent Accuracy During Long Brews

The scale maintains its 0.1g resolution for weights under 500g, so repeated pours stay consistent from start to finish. A tare function lets you zero the dripper or server mid-process without losing the timer count. An automatic shut-off activates after 120 seconds of inactivity to preserve battery life during extended sessions. Low-battery indication prevents unexpected power loss while brewing.

Low Heat Silent Operation With Battery Power

The ABS platform and frame produce no audible fan noise and generate negligible heat during normal use. A waterproof silicone pad protects the electronics from spills and adds stability on wet surfaces. The back-lit reverse LCD remains readable in low light without increasing power draw. Three included zinc cells keep the unit running without a mains connection.

Questions about this item

Does the scale generate any heat or noise while running continuously during a long brew session?

The KitchenTour EK6002 operates silently with no heat output, drawing power only from the three included zinc batteries for the back-lit LCD and timer functions.

What power source is required to operate the scale right out of the box?

Three zinc batteries are included in the package, so no separate power adapter or external supply is needed to start weighing immediately.

Will the 0.1g resolution and 3kg capacity handle both my small espresso cups and larger French press carafes?

Yes, the scale reads to 0.1g up to 500g and supports a maximum capacity of 3000g, accommodating both tiny portafilters and full brew vessels on the ABS platform.
