15-in-1 Multitool TU573

The Klein Tools TU573 combines 15 functions in a stainless steel frame measuring 4.13 by 9.75 by 5.63 inches. Pliers, wire cutters, four screwdrivers, a knife, bottle opener, fish scaler, hook remover, nail file, saw, ruler and can opener fold into the handle. A safety lock secures each tool open. A nylon pouch is included for belt or bag carry.

Everyday carry for DIY, roadside and outdoor tasks

Homeowners, campers, anglers and drivers who want one pocketable kit for common fixes will find the tool count and lock useful. The pliers-based layout suits gripping, cutting and light fastening. Users who need a full-size wrench set, powered driver torque, or specialised electrical and plumbing bits should look at dedicated toolboxes instead.

Handles routine cutting, fastening and outdoor prep

The blade, scaler and hook remover cover campsite food prep and line work. Pliers and screwdrivers manage loose hardware, wire and small fasteners. The ruler gives quick reference up to its marked length. Heavy-duty demolition, large-diameter pipe work or high-torque automotive jobs exceed the leverage and jaw capacity of this compact frame.

Questions about this item

What tools do I already need to use the 15-in-1 multitool's pliers and wire cutters?

No additional tools are required; the pliers and wire cutters are built into the TU573 and ready to use straight from the nylon pouch.

Will the safety lock still hold if I keep using my older hand tools alongside this multitool?

Yes, the integrated safety lock on the TU573 secures each tool independently, so it remains engaged regardless of what other tools you carry.

How can I verify the ruler on the TU573 is accurate after I unpack it?

Compare the 9.75-inch ruler marking against a known steel rule or tape measure; the scale should align exactly.
