Klein Tools 70580 Metric Folding Hex Key Set

SKU CH-QNYM-5HC8S

Five-key metric folding hex set with straight and right-angle positions for leverage

  • Five metric sizes cover common fasteners
  • Two working angles give extra leverage
  • Square-cut tips prevent socket stripping
  • Pocket-sized handle keeps keys organised
  • Lightweight steel set weighs 0.85 lbs

Five-key metric set for technicians

The Klein Tools 70580 folds five metric hex keys into a single pocket-sized handle. Technicians and DIY users carry 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm sizes without loose pieces. Two key positions give straight-out or right-angle leverage for tight fasteners.

Low-force operation reduces fatigue

Square-cut hex ends seat fully in the socket to prevent stripping and slippage during normal use. The folding handle keeps keys aligned so less torque is wasted on misalignment. At .85 lbs the set adds negligible weight to a tool belt or bag.

Compact handle organises every size

The 5-1/4 inch handle stores all five keys and eliminates the lost-key problem in a toolbox or pocket. Key lengths range from 3-1/4 to 4-5/8 inches for reach in confined spaces. No additional accessories or software are included with this mechanical set.

Questions about this item

How do I set the keys straight or at a right angle?

Each key pivots out from the 133 mm handle and locks in two positions: straight out or at a right angle for extra leverage.

Do the hex ends wear out and need replacing?

The square-cut hex ends are designed for full-depth fit to prevent stripping, and the set has no replaceable parts; if a key damages you replace the whole set.

Will the folding mechanism loosen with heavy daily use?

The pivot joints are built into the handle; under sustained high torque the joint is the first point that can develop play.
