Scout Pro 3 Remote Upgrade Kit

This kit adds five Test + Map remotes numbered 2 through 6 to the Klein Tools Scout Pro 3 tester. It is designed for technicians who need to verify voice, data and coaxial connections at multiple locations in a single visit. The remotes enable single-step testing, mapping and identification to reduce time on site.

Remotes With RJ45 And F Connectors

Each remote includes an RJ45 jack for data cables and a male F connector for coaxial cables, plus a soft overmold and recessed-jack design for grip and durability. The package supplies six female-to-female and two male-to-female coaxial adapters, seven RJ45 jumpers, two RJ11 jumpers and two RJ12 jumpers, all six inches long, for direct connection to wall outlets.

Extends Single-Remote Testing To Five Locations

Without the kit the Scout Pro 3 tester works with only one remote, limiting identification to a single cable run. Adding remotes 2 through 6 lets a technician test and map up to five drops in one pass, which is valuable on larger installs where multiple voice, data or video lines must be verified quickly. The jumpers and adapters cover the common connector types so no extra parts are needed.
