Koah CFexpress Type B Reader
The Koah KO-CFEXPB-01 reads CFexpress Type B cards and connects through USB 3.2 at up to 10Gbps. It is built for photographers and videographers who need to offload high-resolution photos and full HD video files quickly from a single card slot.
USB 3.2 10Gbps interface limits
The reader reaches its 10Gbps ceiling only when the host port also runs USB 3.2 Gen 2 or Thunderbolt 3. On older USB 3.0 or 2.0 ports the transfer rate will fall back to the port’s lower maximum. The card’s own sustained speed also caps real-world throughput.
Aluminium body with dual cables
An aluminium alloy shell dissipates heat during long transfers and resists wear in a kit bag. Both USB-A and USB-C cables are included so the same reader plugs into Type-A and Type-C hosts without adapters. Bus power and driver-free hot-swap keep the setup simple on location.

Questions about this item
Which cable should I use with my laptop's port?
The box includes both a USB-A and a USB-C cable so you can connect to either port type without an adapter.
What does the 10Gbps rating mean when I copy files?
It is the peak bandwidth of the USB 3.2 link; real-world throughput will be lower and depends on the card and host controller.
Does the USB 3.2 interface limit the speed of my CFexpress Type B card?
Yes, the 10Gbps USB 3.2 connection caps the maximum transfer rate even if the card itself is faster.
