Industrial barcode scanner for mobile workers

The KoamTac KDC380C is a 2D imager barcode scanner built for inventory, retail and field-service teams who need wireless capture. It reads standard-range 1D and 2D symbologies and stores over 400,000 scans in 5 MB of onboard memory. An IP65 rating protects the unit against dust and water jets in demanding environments.

Check Bluetooth host and power options

Verify that the target smartphone, tablet or PC supports a Bluetooth connection for data streaming. Optional Wi-Fi and NFC modules are available on other KDC380 variants, so confirm which radio your workflow requires before ordering. The rechargeable battery tops up from any USB port, so a USB charger or host port must be accessible during shifts.

Replaces tethered or memory-limited scanners

Teams using cabled scanners gain full mobility with the Bluetooth link, while crews relying on older batch devices with smaller buffers eliminate upload bottlenecks thanks to the 400,000-scan capacity. The 19-key alphanumeric keypad and OLED display also remove the need for a separate screen when quantities or item codes must be entered on the spot. The upgrade is worth it when untethered scanning and local data entry speed up daily counts.
