80-inch 16:9 Manual Screen

This 80-inch diagonal screen uses a 16:9 aspect ratio for widescreen content. The manual pull-down mechanism suits home cinema, gaming and presentation setups. A wrinkle-free matte white surface reduces glare and supports HD or 4K projection. Heavy-duty casing protects the fabric when retracted.

Wall or Ceiling Mounting Check

Verify that the intended wall or ceiling can support the heavy-duty case and hardware. The viewing area measures 87 inches wide by 48 inches high, so confirm the mounting surface spans that width. Ensure enough vertical clearance exists for the screen to unroll fully without obstruction. No electrical connection is required for operation.

Passive Cooling and Silent Use

The screen has no motor, fan or power draw, so it runs completely silent during use. The matte fabric does not generate heat and needs no ventilation. Ambient room temperature and projector heat are the only thermal factors. The manual spring-lock mechanism adds no operational noise.

Questions about this item

What comes with the Kodak 80" manual pull-down screen and what must I buy separately?

The screen ships in its heavy-duty square casing with the pull-string and handle already fitted; mounting brackets and fasteners for wall or ceiling installation are not included and must be sourced separately.

Which diagonal size should I choose from the listed options for this 16:9 model?

This unit provides an 80" nominal diagonal with an 87" x 48" viewing area; other diagonals are sold as separate SKUs, so select the 80" version if those dimensions match your room.

How does the 80" diagonal translate once the screen is mounted in my room?

The fabric measures 87 inches wide by 48 inches high, giving a 16:9 image that fits an 80" diagonal — ensure your projector throw distance can fill that width from your chosen mounting position.
