What it is and who it’s for
This Kodak MindPal Kids Camera in purple is a new instant-print camera kit designed for children aged three to sixteen. It includes a 12MP camera body, a 32GB memory card, a lanyard and three rolls of thermal photo paper for over 200 prints. The lightweight body weighs 27 grams and uses a lithium-ion battery.
Sustained-use behaviour
The camera supports 1080P HD video recording with cyclic recording and 16x zoom for extended sessions. Built-in storage of 32GB holds thousands of images, while the 12MP sensor captures stills for instant printing. Children can also switch to an MP3 player or five puzzle games between shoots, keeping the device useful during long trips.
Thermals noise and power
Thermal printing technology produces photos without ink cartridges, so there is no warm-up delay or mechanical noise from ink heads. The lightweight design and lanyard make it comfortable for small hands to carry all day. A single lithium-ion cell powers printing, photography, video and audio features, and an auto power-off function conserves charge when idle.

Questions about this item
Does the thermal printer make a loud noise when the 12MP camera prints a photo?
The instant-print function uses thermal technology without ink, so operation stays quiet enough for indoor play.
What must I already own to charge the lithium-ion battery inside this 27-gram camera?
A standard USB power source such as a computer port or phone charger is required; no proprietary dock is included.
Can I offload the 1080P videos and 12MP photos to a Windows 10 laptop without extra software?
Yes — the 32GB card appears as a mass-storage device when the camera is connected via USB.
